Why Realfoodprice ?
Through frustration with how our Farming community and consumers were being treated and feeling first-hand the current lack of competition, we realized that something needed to be drastically changed.
For lower and fairer prices there needs to be healthy competition. Competition leads to more choices for consumers which facilitates the prosperity and welfare of all Australians. Competition is an essential ingredient to a functioning and prosperous economy. It stimulated innovation, leads to efficient markets, drives productivity and provides consumers with choices and competitive prices. We realized that to ensure a competitive future for our farming Industry and more largely the Australian economy that we needed to rely on Data to level the playing field.
We believe that through the transparency in pricing, consumers would be in a position to know where their dollars are being spent and understand just how many dollars of these sales was reaching our Australian Farmers. There needed to be one place where everyone could see the

It became clear that there needed to be a bridge built between our Farmers and consumers and better delve into the data that was behind Fruit and Vegetable sales across Australia. We saw that through the

data and unravelling the secrecy we could understand why things were costing us so much! We wanted to know, was someone in Melbourne paying the same as me in Western Australia and if not then why?

Through our nous we understand what works and will fearlessly embrace the opportunity presented to change our Australian farming Industry.
To future proof the needs of the Australian economy, we have built the platform to accommodate additional areas of focus and can very easily grow our offering from the fruit and vegetable markets into other areas of the protein, food and grocery industry.
